When you’re eating to hit high protein goals, sometimes grilled chicken breast gets a little old. Here’s a great, protein-rich snack with a lot of flavor.
Here’s what you need:
2 Packets Herbalife Soup Mix (Creamy Chicken)
3 Cans of Solid White Albacore Tuna
1 1/2 cups egg whites – (you can use egg beaters)
1/2 cup of diced baby spinach
Pinch of salt and pepper
2 tsp of herb seasoning mix (for extra flavor)
2 tsp minced onions
Combine all ingredients in medium bowl. Pour into 8″x8″ square pan.
Set oven at 400 and cook for 20-30 minutes (depending on oven) until souffle is firm. Let cool briefly, then cut into 2″X2″ squares.
Per square – 51 calories, 11 g protein, 1 g carb.
One little square with a half-ounce of lowfat cheddar cheese, as shown in the picture above, comes to 81 calories, 16g of protein, 1g carbs, and 1g fat. Delicious and remarkably filling! A new favorite low-calorie snack.
