In the past year, I have made some dramatic changes in my life. This is my personal blog. It is a way for me to give back, to share with you how to transform your own life.
I plan to write on fitness, education, achieving goals and recreating yourself. I will also share resources I have found helpful.

Why “The Rock Star Life”?
No hidden musical talent that I am planning to bust out! It is a metaphor I find compelling.
In my journey from obese to athlete, I have experienced the temptation to settle. To accept “not fat” rather than work towards fit. Rock star fit.
Rock star status is what I want for each of you. Not just getting down to a healthy BMI, lowering your blood pressure, or no longer being pre-diabetic, but being in the BEST SHAPE of your life. Having incredible energy. Looking and feeling AMAZING, confident, turning-heads-cause-that-must-be-a-ROCK-STAR-walking-by sexy.
And really, why should fitness be the only area?!

Love them or hate them, a rock star draws attention. Lives out loud. Lives at a level that most of us only dream of. That is what my journey – and this blog – is all about.
